Try using just enough high temp silicone to cover the little grooves in them before you install them. Works for me.

I have found that a silicone called "The Right Stuff" made by Permatex is the best stuff out there right now. I have yet in a couple of years had a leak any place I used it. It is alittle bit more money then the others but worth every penny.

I saw it at Pep Boys. It's in a "Cheese Whiz" style can. I have not tried it yet.

That stuff is the best....without a doubt.

BTW Cat...wheat thins are probably a better choice over ritz crackers. They will give you a lot more roughage which you will no doubt be needin' by the time you finish off the whole can.

If you put that stuff on any cracker you would not need to worry about being regular, it would seal that side also :ebiggrin

took it on a 200 mile trip and had it up to about 80/90mph and not one drop... I also redid the breather , fuel return (opposite ends of the air cleaner) and crank case vent just like it was stock but with the weber… all info was in the factory manual, so now I have no blow by any where  :multi: :smt026 :smt041

yes... when it is plumed right it make a slight vacuum in the valve cover keeping the blow by from coming out the breather.. And most of us that put the weber on gust block everything off that’s where the mistake is
