Is it a stock unit or a aftermarket CD player? We kind of need to know what you have, pic's would really help.

In my luv I had a crappy am/fm radio (not stock one) and I took the plastic vent cover off the cetner of the dash and was able to get the bracket off the radio. Also by taking out the ash tray (it just slides all the way out) I was able to get to the wiring behind the radio.

The plastic vent is actually a speaker cover/vent and is supposed to be held on with clips on the underside of the dash pad.

You can get pretty good access to the back of the stereo by removing the inner portion of the glove box too.

Left hand up through the ash tray hole(ash-hole) lol, and one through the side of the glove box.
