Forecasters at the National Hurricane Center issued a watch for Texas from Brownsville to Port O'Connor as Tropical Storm Dolly entered the Gulf.

Nothing for us to be worried about yet. 8O If we are lucky, no Hurricane, but much needed rain!

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

Nothing to worry about? Gas will probably go up 50 cents now.

I stayed home, bought stuff for all the family to come to my house. No one came here. :( But I heard some "bad" stories from the trips others made and where they made it to. I hope they have everything planned out better. Looks like I-10 is west is planned better.

Looks like Brownsville is where it will go in.

"Forecasters said Dolly was expected to make landfall late Tuesday or early Wednesday as a Category 1 hurricane, which has with sustained winds of 74 mph to 95 mph."

The only Dolly we got is the one sitting on the china cabinet. And gas is dropping; it was $4.29, but now it's $4.11.

I was in that mess a couple years ago. I left east Houston the same time as all of Houston did. I spent 20 hours to get to San Antonio. That's only about 200 miles! It was pretty cool driving (well, crawling) my rig on the wrong side of I 10 though.
