my passenger door was working just fine and the other day i shut it and somebody locked it and when i unlocked it the door wouldn't open
i took off the door panels inside and everything and the door lock pin is unlockin and locking just fine
but the door just wont open and i even used a screwdriver to try to push the rod that pulls the latch and it wouldn't work
any ideas or help on what i could do to get it open?

my driver door does that some times and all i do is just pull up and down on the lock real fast a couple times and it opens alot of the time but it might not be wats wrong with urs but give it a shot...

try spraying an entire can of wd40 use the cheap if you want. spray the entire mechanism inside and out then let it sit for a few then try it i had the same problem this fixed it

I don't know if this is related to you problem at all, but: I had a truck door that would occasionally seem to lock itself and refuse to open. It turned out that the door latch striker mechanism was adjusted too tight, pulling the door in so tight that latch couldn't quite release. Latch/striker adjustment fixed it.

i got it open!
it was a stupid little piece of plastic jamed on the striker plate

but i yanked the dorr for a long time and it opened and thankfully i didnt bend anything or mess anything up
