That is a Chevy Nova. That style was made from 1968 to 1972, but the front cap will also bolt onto the 1973 & 1974 models. And no, they won't fit...

And the fenders are not the same as a LUV by a long shot.

I looked at a similar setup also, but this particular grille combo is rare as hen's teeth now and worth more on an AMC. IF I could find one, I think it would work on a LUV....

PS - The car is a 1971 AMC Hornet SC360.

These came just plain painted too, (as I'm sure most of you know) and I plan to have one cut in the middle and sewn back together to fit the Luv.

Better than an orange stuck on an apple, anyway.

WTF! You've got to be sh@#ing me. Don't mean to offend but that may look like a luv frontend, but only from a hundred feet, in the dark, with a match as the only light source.

You can't tell me you've never seen a nova before?!

Okay, then we will call it a Chevy III. Problem solved. Is a Camaro a Chevy IV or is that a Chevelle? What shall we call a Vette? What are these cars anyway? Now I am really confused.

The 68 I had had Chevy II and Nova Badges similar to the ones I had on the 66 and 67 Chevy II Nova's I had. I think they dropped the Chevy II designation in 69 or 70...
