I hope you didn't pay much for those tires. They don't even have any tread on 'em! They're gonna suck on a rainy day.

Actually i gave only gave $373 for them @ the nationals . No shipping ! Goodyear does not make a 26" tire with there name on it . These say dunlop for the pro stock bikes , but have the correct compound and side wall for up to 3500 #s .

Last trip out I also killed 2 leaf springs ( 4wd long bed 4 springs ) , tore the driverside leaf spring perch off the housing , bent the passengerside perch 90* at the rear , and dented the gas tank with the yoke . In the midst of the carnage I managed a cool wheelie , which also clocked my driverside resplined axle 2 splines . I was in a time rush to put it back together and couldn't find anyone to build me a set of springs . I ended up calling Calvert racing and having them build me a set of springs and caltracs bars . These were sopposed to be bolt in , but turned out to be far from it . mytmouz has a buddy that builds a similar bar and I think you would get a better fit with it . . Anyway here are the pictures . Let me know what you think .

I had heard Cal-Trac had done Luv setups before... I guess it was wrong. You would think they would have kept the information.

The front spring eyes looked like they belonged on a F-350 . I had to take a grinder and relieve some of the inside of the front perch as the outside diameter was way to big . They also require a 3 inch front perch . A Luv has like a 2 7/8 " ( or there abouts ) Perch . Mine miraculously grew  . I also had to open the spring bushings up to .700 in front . These are steel and need to be done by a machine shop . The drill used was a special drill and i ended up with like .002 clearence . I had these done @ work ( Chili's gift certificate ) . They sent me a standard 1/2 " set up . I don't think they understand how a Luv leaf mounts with the bell and bolt on one end and standard set up on the other . I have tried to call back and talk to the guy I talked to (travis), but he's always on the phone . I also had to drill the rear bushings . These are a little harder than rubber , but I wouldn't call them poly . I was able to open these up to .700 with a drill bit and a cordless drill . If you are using factory leaf springs it may go better . I have had less than stellar luck with factory springs . They told me that they only did about 4-5 Luvs a year and that they didn't have a data base for them . They work good , fit my bolt on drag radial class and are as close to a 4 link as i'll ever get with this truck , but for almost $800 they were NOT a bolt in and go .

man i'm sorry to hear all the trouble you had but hopefully it will be worth the money and hard labor you went through, so when are you going to test the new setup? i'd like to see how it works for ya.
