Hello,

I have noticed that my solenoid buzzes in my carb when the truck is running. I think it is doing it's job, but I do not like buzzing in solenoids of any kind. Is it possible for me to get a new solenoid?

I have never seen a solinoid I could buy new, I cut the plunger off of them until I can find a good used one.

unplug the solenoid unscrew it form the carb carefully remove the plunger clean it with WD-40 and a rag carefully clean the cylinder of the solenoid with WD-40 and a Q-tip do not loose or damage the spring inside it then put it back together and reinstall it.
