Hi I'm new here but not to Luv trucks...I need someones help here that lives in or near Bakersfield that would be willing to help out my older brother and my mom with their 79 4x4 They are on a very limited income and cannot afford to have it fixed in a shop or buy a new carb. Our mom is 86 and has doctor apointments all the time and the Luv is down with fuel delivery problems..I live in New Jersey so me helping is a bit hard..I hope there is someone here that can help out and get the truck running again and or trade it for a good econo car. That is good news on your truck. I'm sure theres plenty of people here to give you advice on repairs and some with parts too. :D
