When I was a kid growing up 150 feet from the Skykomish River, we never saw a crawdad, but we moved to another farm on a creek and there were hundreds of crawdads. I didn't know they were edible, and I'll kill every one I could find because I was terrified of them!! Now I still haven't eaten one, but if I see any more I'd be glad to barbeque 'em. I might just go buy some too, on account I discovered just a few minutes ago that all four plugs were loose, and that has been my "clutch slippage" problem!! I took the clutch back already, (the clutch set came, but not the flywheel yet), and I'm ready to fill 'er up and chase around. Luvrv8 and Rondog you guys gave me the push to look for another source of trouble, and I was so sure!! I just put those plugs in, and they were all barely finger-tight. Shame on me I know, but nuff said, and I'm done without even picking up the camera! Maybe I'm not the only one happy!!!

On my '78 the #2 plug vibrates loose every now and then. I will hear what sounds like an exhaust leak and it will be the compression leaking out the plug hole. :smt102

These were brand new double platinum plugs with compression rings. Only thing I can think of is that I must have been too light on the torque that day. I will keep an eye on them though. Just got back from a good ride. No problems at all. I won't haul 2,200 pounds of dirt anymore though. :signnoway

never heard of a crawdad.

I just googled it. MMM makes me hungry.

Is the water muddy or murky where they are at???

Stick them in a tank of clean water in the shade. This will clean them out a bit so they dont taste 'dirty'.

We used to catch them when we were kids. Just a bit of fishing line tied to a bit of meat, then you slowly pull the meat toward you and try and bring the yabby with the meat up the bank out of the water. Or you can use a net.
