Anybody remember the Mississippi River in '93 in the central states? I'm not sure if it was as bad as this but it was pretty bad. I remember seeing an outdoor movie drive-in screen about a mile from the river that had water lines about half way up on the screen part. That was in West Quincy, MO. I remember some dumbsh't who got pissed at his girl friend or something and kicked a few sand bags off one of the levy's which resulted in several thousand acres and numerous homes being flooded. My folks lived in Quincy, ILL. at the time but they were not in the flooded area.

Now that you mentioned it I do remember that flooding. Up here it wasn't that bad as this time. This time there was over 1000 blocks flooded.
