uh all that comes to mind is possibly a brocken timing chain. When theres no compression (valves not moving) the starter will basicly free spool with the bottom end and make a higher pitch sound. So pull the valve cover and have someone crank the engine (or use a starter button) and see if the valves move...
Also im going to move this to stock trucks so it gets a bit more traffic.

That's what happened when my timing chain broke. Did it run before? Do *NNNNNOOOOOTTTTTT* try to bump start it, you will send metal chunks everywhere and ruin the motor. If it is the timing chain, you will have to remove the front cover, and if it is a 4x4 model, you will have to remove the motor. Also, inspect the timing chain bottom sprocket, mien was chipped and missing teeth!

It will also bend most of your intake valves. I have one sitting out in my garage right now.

You can add causing a possible screwed-up up head to that list...so just don't try to push start it.

Take the cover off, and if the valves don't move when you crank the starter or you can visibly see that the chain isn't connected any more, then you will have to fix it or get someone else to do it.
