I can't get my stock carb to work (running WAY lean and getting a bad lean miss) so I've been looking at webers, but as we all know, they aren't smog legal. I think they actually check the numbers on the carb to see if they are smog legal or not, so I dont think I can just get away with putting it on and hope they don't notice it.
In my research though I found that there are CA Smog Legal Weber carbs for Toyotas(here is the link:

Are they vehicle specific (the carb, not the adapters and all that) and does it actually have to be on that vehicle to pass smog?
Basicly, can I buy ones of these and run it on my LUV and pass smog?
It seems like if I could someone would have done this by now, but I figured I might as well ask, just in case.
Thanks
