i hate it i hate it i hate it .... its been nothin but problems for me.... i dont have any money to get a weber eatherr..:( but ya i was just driving and out of no where i pull in the clutch at a stop sighn and it dies ... so no problems then but when i start to go up the hill it just keeps spudering out but then it will clear up ??? im confused.. but then i can shut it off let it cool and it will still do it but then i will drive it for like ten min and shut it off and then it just wont idle and it rns fine untill i shut it off...:( plez i need to know why its fuckin up :evil:

Carbs can get dirty and need to be cleaned. Fuel filters could also need replacing. Idle adjustment might prevent the engine dying. Check your timing too.

I had the same problem with mine. Try taking off the sight glass on the front of the carb and spraying it out with carb cleaner. It worked for me for a while.Could also be rust in your gas tank. I put up with the same shit for a long time and finaly got a weber and a fuel cell. It took me a year to scrape up the money but it was worth it.

ya i figured out the dieing part it was a masive vacume leak so i made a new gasket and it idles fine now but still acts like it has a slight mis or something like a hesitation ... maybe like its geting way to much gas and bogging it out but if i run it for five to ten min and shut it offf then start it again then it runs fine but idles hella high now it is just fuckin with my head now.... im about to drive it in to a tree...:) just kidin...haha

Now now...play nice with your toys...lol

Like he said, change out/clean your fuel filters. There is one back by the tank, one inside your fuel pump, and one screen right where the fuel inlet line connects to the carb. Then take the glass cover off and clean all of the crap out of there.

ok will do but i bought a carb rebuild kit too so hopfully it fixes it....:) but ya
