I did a search but never found it. Is there a set spec. or is everybody just making them really tight. Looks like you just don't find those big nuts so i would hate to hurt one. I did get them off in good shape but they were tight. Both of my books call the upper control arm and ball joint an assembly, and never mention changing just the ball joint.

torque specs are over rated :lol: as far as size if i remeber right isnt it like 32mm or something like that...

meh, all that i know is its the biggest nut i have ever seen on a light duty truck...

I used a big pipe wrench. it is like a 2 1/4 inch nut only whatever metric is.
