The rears work , but I had to fab a upper bushing after pushing the cross bar out . They seem a little long but I can't get them to bottom out . I have yet to install the fronts as i am still fabbing bushings for them . I currently have a set of gas charged shocks that were sitting on the shelf on there side for a few years . They are the cheaper ones and leaked alot of oil . They are trying to raise the front all the time . Probably more front rise then 90/10's . I am running out of time quickly . Trying to run a new class on the 24th . Looks like i'll be testing in quailfying

Yep, hey! what did you do with the piece of cross member going from sise to side to each lower control arm. Did you just take it off to paint or are you leaving it off.
Looks like it adds strength and stability to the front between the frame. It just bolts on. I need to paint mine plus the tranny mount.
Did you cut your bumper brackets off or are they supposed to unbolt. Mine are welded on but I am taking them off.

yeah i just took it off when i was test fitting the 6.0 , it fits nice about 1/4 in front of the oil pan. bumper brackets just unbolted for me i made a tilt front end so im gonna try and get a front valance. i still got to make a tranny mount also.

Guess someone half ass welded my brackets on. Bolts are gone. Might redrill holes through the frame as it sits so I can just bolt them back on if I want to.

Here is my headers I am trying out. Might swap my 4 10 gears for them. They are truck headers. They rub the frame a little on the passenger side and the cross and the mount below the control arm. Driver side fits great.
Gonna get my motor mounted this weekend I hope.

Long tubes will definately work without the torsion bars.
Shorties are going and if nukeday I think who was wanting them can have them now. Will send the curl at the pipes and all

Here is the deal on the bumper brackets, please don't ask how I know this as I am still pissed off at it. Early LUV's (Series 2,3 and 4) had bumper brackets welded from the factory on the frame and the rest had bolt on brackets.

Mounts are on and now I can get to business. i messed up on one side and the friggin mount slipped and I didn't check it. Have to use a 3/4 in spacer on the drivers side. No problem though. I am using 1/2 inch grade 8 bolts.

see if you can get a stud ount adapter tofit the top like mine . It isn't that hard to mount it. I just welded a plate to the top after I cut it off and moved the top over some. The shockis more straight up and down now.
