has anyonee purchased one or looked into getting one of these and if so, are they a direct fit? or is there just enough tubing and hardware and you have to bend it all your self? or whats the deal?

I looked at that bar , but ended up buying the S&W bar . Like $302 to the door . I was told there would be less fitting to the S&W bar . I am installing it tomorrow and thursday .

I am about half way thought fitting right now . Ratt is going to weld it in for me as a favor ( don't tell anyonre though). The worst part so far was removing the rocker boxes from the back of the cab corners by the cab mounts . These are full frame trucks and the cage must be frame tied . Mine is the 8 point . I pulled the back glass and plan to put Lexan in the factory gasket . I got more than hints . They (HMP) told me DON't come back without a bar period . The big track said if you do it again we'll escort you out for a year . The inside will be flat dark blue , the rear bars will match body color . I also have a tonnua (spelling?) cover for the bed with a bowtie on it to cover the bed .

O.k. mine came with 4 "out rigger and 6 plates . The out riggers are required under the main hoop and at the peak of the frame at the rear shock mounts . The stock frame rail runs half way under the bed wheel tube to floor seam . You must weld an outrigger ( 2 x 3 square tubing ) to the inside of the frame for the round rear down bars to tie to . The outriggers under the main hoop go outside the frame rail . In the front I assume they want you to tie the bars to the top of the frame . I am a taller guy with big feet , so I will be using plates in front to tie the bar to with a hole in the floor and an added pipe welded to the underside of this plate to the frame . this plate will be bolted to the floor pan also . The instuctions say to put the front bars to the floor and fire wall joint . I am moving mine back to add some foot room . This set up should be certifiable to 8.50 . There are 2 more bars that go from the seatbelt cross bar to the top of the actual frame rail . This is an 8 point kit . The bars come a little long in the kit I have . So it has to be fitted . I am new to this and am learning as I go . I don't have any pictures of the fitting stages , but will take pictures of it as it gets installed . Here are some currents of the truck to hold you guys over . Well call these before .
