I am considering buying a pre '80 LUV truck. I have made many drawings and would like to move the truck cab toward the rear of the frame...about a foot if possible. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Is it feasable?

but then you are also looking at cutting the box or moving that back too and also making the fenders longer :eugeek

Yeah, actually it is begining as a frame-off project. the top and rear of the cab will be removed (and moved rearward with channeling over the frame axle hump) windshield shortened 3 inches. no fenders or hood, revised firewall, front dropped i-beam axle with hairpins. shortened step-side bed (no fenders), 10bolt chevy rear, discs, It will be my "t-bucket LUV" or my "LUV bucket" upon completion. I just built a 383 stroker with the new "thumper" cam. lots of work to do but it sure is fun. the only original parts will be the frame, basic cab, dash, steering wheel and seat.
