Unfortunately, my crank couldn't be turned. I got a .010, .010 reman crank with bearings for $175.00. Northern Auto Parts had some good internet deals, but they didn't have everything I needed and the warehouse I got the crank from had everything in stock ( I needed 1 rod and piston, the rings, and a gasket set). I believe I saw some Isuzu stuff. Hope this helps.

partsamerica.com if there is a schucks around you all you need to do is take a print off of the parts cost and description into them and they will give you it for 10% of the pricew that the website quotes at...

Parts for these little suckers are sure getting harder to find around here too. I ordered a high performance distributor cap/rotor set (the one without the cheap-ass aluminum electrodes inside the cap) and two showed up with the stock one instead, and one couldn't get them at all because they're out of stock.

I figured when I installed a mid-eighties Impulse engine in my truck that parts would be easier to find - but since it's an engine from a rare as hell car - I guess maybe I went from bad to worse...lol

Fortunately I was lucky enough to find both on ebay for around $25.00. Next I'm going to try to find some better high performance plug wires cheap. My parts store wants about $75.00 for a set. IMHO that's way too much for just 4 lousy plug wires plus 1 more from the distributor to the coil.

But I guess that's what my cheapskate old butt gets for trying to trick out a 30 year old truck...lol

When I needed pistons and rings for my 1.8 I ordered them through partsamerica. They did not list them for a LUV so I ordered them for a Impaulse. The price was fair but no one else could get them.
