tip for the day
Ok I have been off work this week and I have a bad habit of leaving my lights on, well i got tired of it and since the luv doesn’t have a buzzer for the lights I wired one in... so for any one that wants to do this here you go...
go to radio shack and get either the buzzer or the chime (ding-dong) which is the one i got , hate the buzzzzzz sound. they will range from $3 to $9.99(for chime)

part numbers from Radio shack
76dB Piezo Buzzer #: 273-059
80dB Chime #: 273-071

then you take the blue and black wire and wrap the ends together and attach to the IG on the ignition switch and take the red wire and attach to any dash light hot side... then just double sided tape to something under the dash, mine I attached to the steering column... it will work properly if you turn on you light with truck off and you get a chime... then turn the key and the chime will go off, test complete and your set to go without ever leaving your lights on again to drain the battery
here is a link to what the buzzers look like so you know if you go to radio shack

That's one of the top reasons why this site is so great. Good, practical, economical ideas to make our LUV's better and at no cost.
