is it legal here in washington to drive without the front bumper on a luv? they look so sweet without it, i want to give mine that extra head turner piece of art. :-)

I don't know, but you'll have to remount the turn signals cause they mount to the bumper...Yours is already a head turner anyway.

hehe hey kev! long time no chat

but i totally spaced out on those turn signals being there. oh well.

how about driving around without a front license plate? mine is screwed and torn apart from my grandpa towing me home by a chain.. that was the worst experience of my life. always use tow rope!!

OH AND ACTUALLY

Is it illegal here to not have a rear bumper?? I've been followed around by coppers but never been pulled over for it. But I'm extremely cautious because my truck is pretty much the only vivid shade of lime/light green around here that i've seen, and when I pass a cop they always look my way and I half expect them to whip around and run my plates just to see if i've got anything on me. haha

ive always gottn by without a front bumper on my old 81 Luv for yrs. i just hung my front plate up on the grill with coat hangers. and tied my turn signals to the bumper mounts with bailling wire lol. i know it kinda sounds white trash but my old chevy luv always passed D.O.T inspections where i used to live at and here where im at now as well. i guess some states are different or more stricked on their laws.

up here vehicles older than 80 don't need to pass emissions. so the smog pump is out of thurr on my truck. haha

i always wondered what was so different about other luv's because they looked weird to me when i saw them, and now i realize they have rear bumpers. haha
