I have a bunch of the wiring done and can crank it now without wires stretched over the floor. Should be able to move it Sunday on its own. A few more brake lines and I can move it to dad's Garage and clean up my garage so I can find the rest of the stuff I have bought and can't find. I am working on the 3" exhaust ,but most everything is working out and I will be hitting the road and dragstrip shortly.

The blower and 3" exhaust has really changed the sound of the cam. It sounds beter than ever and I can't wait to drive it to town!!!!!!!!!!!! The blower has just about the right amount of whine, enough to get noticed but not so much that its annoying.

I was able to get it movable so I will be cleaning up for a few days and then back at it. I am ready to ride and getting tired of all the work.

I now have a new problem. The nice bench seat I have and like will not fit between the roll bar so I will be going to buckets a little later. I hope to drive it on the road Friday at least to get some fuel.

Geez Nelson, RatnLuv has been posting all kinds of stuff he's done like the Mustang front clip and the narrowed frame. Hell, he's got some of the motor sitting in the cab area. It's a very involved buildup. Use the search function and find the previous post to get up to speed.

project gallery has a bunch of pics (Scott Howard Georgetown Tn) of when I put it together last year and drove it 1200 miles before I made these last changes. It seems everything I have changed made me have to change something else but more pics shortly. I am waiting on my hood and finishing the wiring but it close to hitting the street again.

The 3" exhaust is on. I was limited on going out the back so I bought Mandrel bend U pipes and have both pipes coming out in front of the driverside rear wheel. 3" the whole way and sounds great. We had some serious storms a couple of days ago and the power was off so it was stuck in dads garage and I lost some work time on Wednesday and yesterday was my wedding anniversary ( 22 years ) so I didn't get much done until today. Always behind but still getting there little by little.
A bunch of car nuts get together at Advance Auto Parts in Cleveland on Thursdays and I am planning on going next week.
I am so close to being back on the road I am about to go crazy!!!!!!!

Is it possible for you to post a video of the truck once it's back on the road? It doesn't have to be a run at the strip mind you. Just something that shows a little of what it's like.

I think Travis can do a video but I don't even have a regular video cam, but if nothing else in a week or so I will take a bunch of pictures and send them in. It is just flat black spray can primer like it was when I got it. All of my money and time have went on the frame, suspension and running gear so far.

I hit the road today and yes it has PLENTY of power. Traction is going to be a problem on the street anyway. I putted around but it got the best of me and I had to nail it just once! In 2nd gear rolling along when nailed it fired the tires up and headed sideways!!!!!! 8O
I do not believe you can have too much power but it does have enough!
Tomorrow I am going to tryand finish wiring things like brake lights, headlights and other things the law requires so I can take it to town. I am going to put a few miles on it and keep reading the plugs to make sure I am not too lean but trust me I am as happy as I can be!

Drove it around again today! Still need to do some wiring
Larphead you are correct the nitrous is useless on the street for now,However when we go to the strip it may be a different story. I left room for 16.50 tires and when the 29 x 15.50's are replaced I am planning on 31 x16.50.But fo now it is fun to drive.
