I got a gift for Christmas that somehow got shoved under the couch. Just found it again yesterday and I think this thing is pretty cool. Just thought I'd share...

Seems like this might be a fun thread, anyone else have 'space saving' tools they really like? My shop space is really limited, so tools like this are great for what I'm doing (as long as I don't break 'em). Anyone used one of those Gator Grip socket things?

Gator grips are good, when they're broken in... when you first buy one it's kinda tight and hard to get it to fit right on a nut, but put a little grease in the back of it and just get a bolt head and start playing with it and working it loose, they're good then...

BTW, at walmart there is a "Stanley" branded ratchet that works like a std. ratchet but if you turn the handle (in either direction) the head turns in the appropriate direction selection, one of the best Christmas presents my GF got me!

I've got some neat tools in my tool box, just got to open it up and snoop around to see what i got...

I havent been a machinest for very long...maybe 2 years....
I run all the manuals, and the boss man wants me to get on the CNC's in the shop.

I typically hang out with the CNC guys, and one of them runs a vertical mill we made a fancy mirror for a Harley.

Those CNC's are pretty cool. But I hate that rapid feed, when its at 100-150%........ scares the shit out of me everytime. I half expect it to hit the part or the chuck.

Will a 6 point socket work on a 12 point bolt? Like an ARP bolt I mean...
