Most of us know that Chevy is getting ready to introduce the successor to the S10... what Chevy is keeping pretty quiet about is that the vehicle was co-engineered with Isuzu... and the Colorado is pretty much a twin of the Isuzu Dmax now hitting the market in Thailand and soon elsewhere.

Here's an article from Pickuptruck.com where the author speaks out of both sides of his mouth. He uses the term TWIN to define the vehicles and says they share "their basic architecture" but goes on to say that they aren't the signficantly the same.
They ARE siginificantly the same: if you put a Dmax regular cab next to a Colorado you'd find a Taurus/Sable similarity. The engines will be different, which is no suprise, and certainly there will be other differences -- essentially these are TWINS.
Te point is this: the monikor Colorado is pretty misleading. The truck has it's roots in Asia, and might as well more accurately be called... LUV.
