I've got the new headbolts on their way, waiting for a payment to clear so I can get a new head gasket set, fel pro.
and then tomorrow most likely taking my head in to be re surfaced, valve grind, new valve guides, the works, and ill be having my truck running asap.
and after the first 500 miles im going to retorque. last time i was just over 1k and it blew because i didn't re tighten, so I'm not going to wait even that long.

Oh and after all this, the next project is getting rid of some of the minor surface imperfections, aka rust spots, gonna buy a new molded carpet kit, get bucket seats. Anyone know where I can buy a new shift boot that fits the long freakin thing? As well as what kind of tires/rims I can get for this thing without affecting the speedo? Thanks guys!

but sometimes you have to fabricate special mounts because the holes from the bench seat might be different from those on buckets. not too hard though if you dont mind drillin a few holes in your luv.
