My 16", $50 Chevy Suburban wheels ended up costing me $150 to get on the truck.
First problem was the bore. After just sawing it out with a big hole saw (figuring "what the heck, it's covered by the dress plate"), I realized that's what the tire installer uses to secure the wheel for balancing, so it needs to be perfectly centered.
I had to make a custom 'spinny' rig and acquire some milling bits to accomplish that.
Next is the lugs/lug nuts. Most Chevy 6-lug are drilled for 14mm diameter lugs. Luvs are 12mm. Additionally, the lug nuts are a weird thing with threads on the outside that the trim plate screws to.
I ended up changing my truck to 14mm lugs. (24 lugs at $2.99/lug starts to add up.)
Finally, punch the holes in the trim plate for the front hubs to stick through and I'm done. Except of course for the $500 in new tires required.
The end result came out OK, but it was far more work and $$ than I should have put into it.
