I noticed when I bought the truck that hot air came out of the floor vents, but not the upper vents. It made the drive in cold weather somewhat uncomfortable.

Is this a common problem, and if not, are there any suggestions before I get my repair manual? Thanks for all of the help!!

The heater only blows hot air out the bottom and the defrosters. The dash vents are outside air or A/C only. Its not broken, its a feature.
