Here's a link to Unlimited. They sell a fiberglass replacement bumper for the later year Luv. There about 100.00. Unless the idea of a fiberglass bumper makes you want to throw up. It's just an option you might want to look in to.

i have a bumper it looks pretty good no dents

i have a spare 78-80 bumber.it has a few rust spots and it is sort of arched from having to jack it up by the bumper. but if ur interested pm me.matt

hey blue meanie how do you feel about that bumper. can you actually tell it's fiberrglass if it's painted?? i bookmarked that site if i have to buy one of those. i still want a chrome one though

Meanie do you think their bumper would fit my 79? does that count as a "later year luv"?

Im not sure but i think any 72-80 Luv bumper will fit any 72-80 truck. The one that they show is a later year style. I think that the Luv got this style bumper in 76 and on. Maybe someone can verify this.

yeah like Blue said the big style bumper came with the luv from 76 and up i think and before that it was the lil skinny ones
