Guys, I've contacted the person that owns chevyluv.com and he is willing to sell the domain to us for $50 plus transfer fees.

You guys probably don't know that before we started LUVTruck.com we tried to buy chevyluv.com. At the time the owner wanted more money for it and we decided it wasn't worth it.

If we bought it, I would just setup a forward that would redirect everyone to LUVTruck.com rather than moving this site and/or changing the name to ChevyLUV.com. I'm still considering buying it because it should attract more people to the site that can't find us on a search engine or by chance. In other words, it would be nice for someone to type in "chevyluv.com" on a whim and end up here.

On the other hand, our site already comes up in most searches so maybe it would be a waste of money. And I don't exactly have an abundance of money these days.

What do you guys think?

It would seem that chevyluv.com would come to mind quicker than luvtruck.com....

I'd go for it....

Great idea to attract more members. I think you should go for it. I would help out. This is a great site and it has a great group of members. I have found it very helpful in lots of areas as well as very entertaining at times

As for switching over, I wasn't going to change the name since we are pretty much established already. I was just going to set it up so that if you type in "chevyluv.com" it takes you to "luvtruck.com". But feel free to toss our your opinions on this.
