I have a set of TBI heads that came on a motor that I am going to rebuild. I do not plan on using them but what are they good for? I dont want them laying around in my way either. Should I advertise them on craigs list or something or are they so worthless I should toss them out? Its not like they are in good shape or anything the motor ran fine but wouldnt pass the emissions test.

No they arent vortec heads they are from a 1987 chevy truck. My brother actually sold the truck to his neighbor who bought a 1948 chevy truck he wants the rear end out of it so he can change out the old style enclosed drive line set up. I dont think he plans on using the motor so who knows maybe he will send it my way. I was orginally planning on using the motor in that truck as a builder until I ended up with another block. If Mark Birch from Franklin doesnt want the heads that I aquired with the block I will donate them to your pile of parts behind your shop if you want them. Chances are I wont know until april I dont have the time to do anything until about that time.

Oh ok, sounds like you got quite an assortment of parts now. You know come to think of it, those big blocks aren't nothing but a big gas guzzling waste of money. If you get your hands on that big block, let me take it off your hands for you. I figure someone needs to step up and protect our 'enviorment' so im opening a new "big block chevy refuse center" for all big block chevy engines.

My bro wants way to much for his junk just like everyone else that think they have something special. when you scavenge enough big block stuff to the point you might have more than enough let me know I could take it off your hands for you. I need to get serious about finishing up my truck so I can find something that I really like something smog exempt and ready for a big block transplant. I have been eyeing the 27' T bucket kit from speedway for some time now just dont know if I want to go that far into a project yet.
