ok i know weber is the way to go for carbs but i have to stay leagle did holley make a carb for these trucks?

No. They did do some rebuilding of the stock ones and sold those years ago.

I got a fresh new rebuilt stock carb from a local auto parts store that is working well. It was $400, but it works well.

There is an Offy manifold for the Holly carb, but I don't know much about that. For probably right around $500 you could get a brand new Weber carb and an Offy intake and probably be way better off than a rebuilt carb on the stock intake.

Staying legal would generally mean keeping the stock carb.


Depending on what the rules are you might be able to retro fit up some sort of EFI to the motor. Id still say it would be emissions test dependant the same as a carb swap.
