ok I want to start another truck this summer and it will be from ground up... ill use mine as a summer toy, parts getter till the new one is done..
anyway I want to do a top chop and was thinking maybe give it a little rake also ... so what you guys think...
this truck will have a twin cam 4 banger motor with duel side draft TBI and around 220hp. A IRS from probably a datsun or 320i the dash will be out of a 55/56 Plymouth (has area for two 5.5 inch speakers on both sides of the dash) will go digital gauges, shaved everything and not sure on the front yet... pluss many more mods...I know it might sound funny but it sure looks great in my head

Yes, always liked T-Tops!! 8) I would LUV to chop mine but dont want to cut a hole in the roof for my head to stick out of.

And a rake is something to pick up leaves with.

Less rake might look better. Tinker with it.

I think a little bit of rake would probably look sweet, just not as much as in the pic. Good idea though.

What do you mean by El Camino style? I don't think I've ever heard that.
Whats so different about El Camino roofs?

Thanks
