Yeah...but IMHO they really missed the boat with this one. They did a lot of wierd expensive mods to the body, truck bed, and interior - but did absolutely nothing at all to improve the truck's drive train.

Since the '74 Luv came stock with the old style crappy-running gutless early Isuzu 1.8, the old style 4-speed and low-geared rearend, (which basically limited it to a blazing top speed of around 60 mph downhill with a good had start and a damn strong tailwind...lol), I kinda hoped they would put a little more effort into putting some serious muscle into that truck.

If they would have spent a few minutes online and eventually wound up here - we could have showed them a thing or 2 to do to that truck that would have represented what owning a "pimped out" Luv is really all about.

I like the final products of the Overhaulin show better. Pimp my ride just butchers em up and puts impractical things on them. Overhaulin is more into restoring a car/truck with just a few of modern upgrades.
