New LUV trucker here. :D

I just picked up a 75 2wd LUV and I'm trying to locate as much information as possible.

Currently I'm, considering an s10 rear swap, but I'm doing some research because I'd like to also swap in a 5 speed and 3.73 gears.

Welcome to the site!

IMHO It's a lot simpler to just find a mid-eighties Isuzu Pup in a junkyard and use the 5 speed, rearend, and driveline from it.

It's pretty much a simple conversion, depending on how your clutch setup is, what tools/equipment you have available to you, and what your skill level is.

I'm assuming your 75 has the newer style engine with the exhaust and intake manifolds on opposite sides of the engine?

Goin' with you idea. The 75 has the 1 gen? 1.8L exhaust and intake on the same side. But, I think I'll try and upgrade to a newer engine if I find the when I find a cheap P'up or Trooper w/the 5 speed.

Turned out my brother-in-laws was an '89 :cry:
