Yup i have been looking for newer truck to get so i can modify my luv a bit more. What i found was vary suprising, chevy, dodge, and ford all void your warenty if you have exsesive ware or abusiv ware (AKA off roading which i live for) or if you lift them, BAM no warenty. So im going ok i could probly tolerate that but then i talked to the Nissan guys today. They did say any of that, off roading damge (except body work) is covered in the warenty, and when you lift em the only thing they dont fix under the warenty is the suspension. So far it looks like im getting a Nissan Xtera or a Frontier crew cab. Tomarow i hit the Isuzu dealership...

Nissan is great for warranty (I have one). The warranty issues vary by dealer though, so check with the dealer for information concerning what you want to do before you buy the truck of choice. Also, look into the aftermarket availability of part for the rig you are considering. My friend has a Frontier, and a year ago he was upset because there was nothing available for the truck. If you get the Nissan, spend the extra money for the Supercharger. You'll be glad you did. Isuzu aftermarket is pretty big. You just have to know where to look. If you want more info, let me know, and I'll give you some links.

Sorry I rambled, it just all came out like this...

I had a '93 Trooper and loved it! The tranny computer fried due to a shorted alternator and cost me $1900 to fix. After that I let it go. There are days I wish I'd have kept it...

Bighappy: What's the difference btween the 22r and 22re? Someone offered me a free 22r block, and I was wondering what the differences were.

Lately, I've been pretty impressed with the Toyota stuff. The older engines are pretty tough too. They seem a little costly for me though...

Ok, thanks guys. This one is a 22re. He will give me the block, but wants me to pay or trade for the fuel injection equipment. The only thing he doesn't have is the ecu.
