I've wanted bags on my luv for a long time now and I'm ready to do it. But I can't see a good way to mount a bag between the upper and lower control arms on my 82 luv. It looks like the shock mount is in a terrible place as far as bags are concerned. Is there anyone who managed to bag their 81-83 luv with stock suspension up front? If so is there any place I could go to see some pictures of how to go about it? I can see how easy it would be to go hydro with this set-up but I would much rather go bags if at all possible. If you can help in any way please let me know. Thanks.
Joey

Make sure that you look at what type of bag you want to run, PSI and the diameter of the bag. I think dan used one of the bigger double bellow bags you can get. They have bags ranging from 6" to 8 1/2" diameter. If you look at smaller bags like a 2500 or a 2600 LBS bag than the size will be smaller from brand to brand. I had 2600 LBS Firestone bags on the front and rear of my 86' burban with a 454 and never had any problems with it. I had a Airride technologys kit on my blown 86' mustang that also had Firestone bags and again no problems. The only thing I can say is do your reseach and see what everyone is doing for airride. Everyone has a different way of doing things and you might find one way that will work for you.
