Cool on the INFO THANKS :) Your right I was thinking of the exhaust Mani. When I asked that one about Cast Iron and Aluminum cause I'm shopping for one of those or a Header to replace the stock one. So like I said when it's all new It runs together sometimes. If by some SAR I put the Intake on the Exhaust side and the Exhaust Mani. on the Intake side I'll let ya know what happens

That's exactly the response I was looking for on the Info and especially the "Charlies Angels" analogy and I'm with TAZ ....LMAO  Right On dude ...... :D Had too be an Impostor

Shawunltd, these intakes are aftermarket, not stock. They are better quality and performance than the stock one. The reason I took on distributing them is because they were not being produced anymore and there were a few people here who were still interested in them and we want to try and keep these available because of their excellent craftsmanship and performance with the stock motor. Also because they bolt up directly to the Weber 32/36 carb which is very popular. Thanks for the answers Taz and that would be awesome if you post some pictures and instructions on how to install the manifolds. I am sure a bunch of people would really appreciate it! 8)

Glad to hear! It went quicker than I expected. I mailed it on the evening of the 30th, so 3 days is pretty good from PA to WA via Parcel Post! 8)

Mokadeth,

How many intakes you have left? And do you think you may still have some around the 1st of the year?

Want one badly, trying to find a way to get one and recover from the financial beating I took over my son screwing up his college paperwork.

If you start running short, maybe I can send a deposit to hold one?

Thanks mang

I received your payment Shawunltd and will be mailing out the manifold Wednesday. It went pretty fast out to WA, so it should be as quick or quicker to TX. 79-LUV'r, I still have plenty and should have plenty since 3 or 4 people that wanted one don't now because of different motors or no longer have their truck. Let me know when you are ready for one. Thanks.

Hey Mokadeth hows the stock count coming along???

Probably have to drop past USPS for me, how much to post one to Sunshine North 3020 (Melbourne) Victoria Australia??? Probably go with economy surface mail and probably registered post.

Might as well give one a look seeing as how your dollar is heading the way of the Peso. But it will depend on getting approval from the financial consultant.

Can you take a PayPal payment???

And when are the dual plane 4bbl ones going to be ready??? lol.

I can't find the info I want online. I will have to get back to you on the shipping. I am going to the post office this afternoon to send out 2 manifolds, so I will have them give me a price when I am there. I have a Paypal account, but I have not been accepting payments for the manifolds from it because of the high fees I would be hit from the price of these manifolds. Being you are overseas though maybe it would work better than sending an international money order. Let me get some more info and I will PM you with what I find out. As for the 4bbl intakes, unless I could sell at least 25 of them, then I probably won't be taking them on. I wish I could have mixed in a few of each of the models for the LUV when I ordered, but it just isn't possible when they do a run of one style of manifold. So you have a rough idea, the price for one manifold will be $220 USD + shipping and insurance.

Hey Mokadeth :) I received my Intake yesterday. Shes looks good! Looks exactly like the original that I have on my 1980 4x4.

Just so you know if anyone asks again about any of the mounting holes it looks too me like the holes for mounting the original bracket used for attaching the throttle return spring for the Carb linkage are there.

However, anyone switching to or that has already switched to the Weber Carb may have to figure something out on the other side on the Intake. I.E. when I switched to the Weber it placed the accelerator linkage on the opposite side of the Intake.

Now on my truck as it sits with the old Intake there is a port coming out of the Intake just below where my linkage (new location) What i did there was plug that hole with a short piece of Aluminum rod with a hole drilled at the outside (or other) end of the rod to hook my throttle return spring to. This accomplished both the need to plug that port anyway and gave me a place to hook the spring.

I see on the new Intake I will have to do the same. It's no big deal but I thought you might want us to share any mods if any we're doing before you have another batch made, if you do have anymore made after this first run.....Maybe this will help... One more time Thanks for all efforts dude GOOD JOB !!!!!!!! :)

Thanks for letting me know you received it ok. 8) I am sure the guys here might be interested in the mods you had to do to hook it up, Taz mentioned earlier that he was going to post some pics and instructions on how to install the manifolds. I doubt Offy would change the castings now for these manifolds, and I am sure some of the holes that might need to be plugged are there for a reason. Some people still may be using the smog stuff too with these? Not sure if that is possible though. Once again thanks for letting me know you received it ok.

Yea you can thank the wacko politicans in California for stopping the cut off point of smoging vechiles right at 1975.
I heard on the news today a Judge in Frenso, CA:

http://origin.mercurynews.com/greenener ... ck_check=1

Senate vote might come as soon as today on an energy bill that says cars and trucks must meet a fleet fuel-economy average of 35 miles per gallon by 2020. That's compared with 27.5 mpg for cars and 22.2 mpg for trucks today. The House approved the fuel-mileage increase last week.
Automakers should just stop selling new cars and see what happens.

Well just try to get a '72 - '75 model. :) I would't think you would all of a sudden have to have better mileage with an older vehicle, it must be grandfathered in the new law for exemptions on older vehicles?
