Just a quick question. How does one identify just what model Weber you have?

I discovered that my spare motor had a Weber of some description on it, complete with adapter plates. The '79 4X4 now has an unidentified Weber, since the stock carb started leaking gas all over the place.

The carb has an inverted V fuel feed on the front (I'm connecting one to the fuel line and one to the overflow- hope I'm not screwing up), manual choke, manual acceleration pump, one vacuum connection on the passenger side. The only marking on the thing is "Weber" No model, no serial number that I can find nothing.

Hopefully I'll get it hooked up tomorrow (got it mounted today) and finally start this truck :: fingers crossed ::

if its an aftermarket weber it will be stamped on the bottom flange on the side something like this 32/36 dgva if its a weber for a ford motor it will just say weber on it but it should have a run on solenoid elect chock and it probably a 34/34 may have a little tag on the top that said motorcraft
