im guessing one to hold the glass and trim while the other gets it started......

i was trying myself but i thought i'd give it a try. the last time my window was out my dad put it back in by hisself in 2 minutes flat. i guess he has the special touch :lol:

I've done the string method on a slider and it wasn't too hard as I recall. Only tip I can remember is to open the window so you can hold onto it while putting it in place, and use a nice slick rope. I had some really smooth small poly rope that worked great. I imagine it could really be a pain with something like sisal bale twine or something.

I have a sliding window in mine, but it doesn't seal when closed, and the latch is in pretty rough shape. How is yours? Any pics?

okay this sucks. i fought with the damn thing for a hour last night and it's not going to work. there's a slight lip on the new one that i'm gonna have to cut. my old one is flat all the way round. has any one ever had there's out?? do you have a lip?? you can see the lip in my photo. i put the lod one back in and it didn't even take 10 minutes to put it in. :x atleast i know now i'm not retarted :lol:

its in good shape. needs re-tint though. I dont have a pic right now but I will take one when i get a chance.

yeah i tried it. wouldn't work. i tried it from the inside too. i'm just going to use a jigsaw to cut the lip off.
