i was wondering if anyone has ran i high rise manifold with out changing to a cowl hood. if you have send some pics please. im stuck on this any help would be great

I run an edelbrock rpm airgap with cheater plate system & demon 650 with stock hood .

Depends on what you call a highrise manifold. Normal ones should. I have a edelbrock too, but I have a small late model Camaro scoop just for grins. :)

Thats also going to depend on how high your motor sit in the truck and how tall of an air cleaner you want to run. I have a super victor, NOS plate, and 4'' air cleaner with a 4'' scoop and need every bit of it.

i'm running a hurricane high rise with a edelbrock carb and i'm also going to run dual cold air intakes to the carb. i was just wondering if you guys had to cut and move then re weld the hood or not?
