just wanted to introduce myself; my parents are giving me a 1982 chevy luv, 4 speed, black, i have lusted after this truck since 1997, its gonna need a lot of work to obtain the level of uniqueness i want but it should be fun.

Welcome aboard!

Any information you need or want is here somewhere. A good place to start would be in the info section on the front page of this site. There is tons of great info there, and while you are on the front page, you can take a look at everyone else's trucks to get some ideas.

Other than that - check the "sticky" posts in the top of each section here and do a thorough search here for anything else want to know and you should have all the info you'll ever need.

If that doesn't work do it all for ya- just holla and some one will get to answering your question as fast and as helpful as they possibly can.
