I picked the coated headers up. I am a little behind but with the way it has been raining here I couldn't drive it if I wanted too.

I am going to go ahead and move the fuel cell to the back to help on traction.

Fuel cell is moved and Fuel filter is mounted.I am working on fuel pump mounts now. I also put in for vacation the week of May 3-10. I have no plans other than getting the Luv back together. I should have the frame done by then and will have to just bolt everything back together!

The frame is shaping up. Most of the grinding is done and I have the brackets made for everything but the nitrous bottles. I have the frame mounted on 2 engine stands so I can rotate it.

The frame now shows no sign of the original torsion bar crossmember or the one behind it. Both were cut out and replaced but it was near impossible to grind and clean up with the cab on. Some grinding and finish is planned for the Mustang ll crossmember over the next few days and then hopefully paint and start reassemble everything.

Also the brake lines and fuel line can be run before all the other stuff gets in the way and should lead to a neater job. This is more than I had planned on doing but it will be like new when it goes back together and with the cab off I need to do the best I can now because I don't plan on ever pulling it again. Not that it was that big of a job,but it should never need it done again.

Art Morrison crossmember. You need to come look at the bare frame.

I went junk yard hunting this past weekend and found nothing. But bought and junked another one today. Best hood, doors, front bumper, fenders grill and core support I have seen!!!!!!!! I am using everything from this truck on my cab. The hood is straight and only broke loose in a few places. Bumper only has a few minor places in it.Doors are straight and are not rusty on the bottom or anywhere! Both doors!!!!!! The bed is junk but good tailights or at least better than what I had.

Sweet. I wish I could get some time off. I do get to drive to Tennesee and buy another luv though. It's Phillip Davis's luv. Pic in the photo gallery. He was tellin me that the frame buckled and it is beyond fixing. But it has the engine, transmission and transfer case I have been badly needing. Post more pics so we can see yer ride rat.

It has rained the first part of the week to the stage of flooding. I am not flooded but it has still slowed progress. We have finally got the frame painted on Wednesday and got the engine, transmission and rearend back in it today. Fuel cell is mounted, both Nitrous boltles are in but I am adding the 2nd fuel pump and am going to order the fuel line and a few fittings.
Also with the addition of the Blower I can no longer run the pulleys I had and will have to order some more. However I made some great progress today and will keep inching along.
I also picked up the 8 point roll bar today! :D

is a 8 point gonna be enough with what you have? 10.99 you have to have a 10 point. with what your running that might be pretty easy for you. heck alot of us are running mid to high 11s with mild small blocks. can`t wait to see what you run.

I am planning on spending most of my time driving on the street and only plan on going to the strip a few times. We only have a 1/8th mile here and I am going to go on test and tune night but I can always upgrade if I have to.

Upper and lower control arm's are back on and it rolls again! All headers are not created equal. I had ordered a set of headers and made them fit.So I assumed that ordering the same header in coated would be the same header. Wrong!!!!!! After leaving plenty of room it touched so I had to grind the frame a little more but it is done all but touching up the paint.

I also put the body on some wheels so I can move it around easier for now.

I cranked the engine with the blower today :D .I had the MSD And battery jut sitting in the floor but it sure was good to here it run again. I am way behind but I am getting there. The blower is quiet at a idle but starts making a little whine above a idle.

Excellent. I wish I could hear it run man. There is no greater thrill than hearing a blower spin. I love that whine. Keep up the good work.
