shawunltd,

Your truck is probably the nicest one in existance. Don`t get me wrong, I am not knocking your truck. Like I said in another post, I even tried to buy it myself a couple of years ago on ebay. But I can just about garantee it did not come from the factory with a chrome valve cover or any of the other chrome, except the bumpers and some trim. I know it didn`t come with the roll bar. I know it is possible that some dealers added accessories that didn`t come from the factory. My 79 4x4 came with every factory option available except bucket seats. Did you see the pic of the shippers manifest that i posted in another post ? It has all the options and rpo numbers.

To me, bone stock original LUV trucks are way cooler than any V8 powered LUVs. But thats just my opinion. In my opinion, your truck is awesome !

Ike

Yea that's cool no offense taken, your right about all the Chrome and the roll bar but I was willing to live with that, as I figured those being the only modifications no problem :) Dude even the drive shaft is chrome.
Who'd a thunk it? lol

The paint and just about everything else is original. Obviously the hand painted pinstripping isn't original but the blue is.

I'll look for that slip your talking about and compare it to this one Thanks :)

If that was you I saw on here carrying the deer on the bike you need a roll bar. Can you picture that, a guy on a bike with a roll bar over his shoulders; while I'm driving his truck.? lol

Actually I've wondered if it would look better Chromed? (The roll bar) not the deer. 8O

And now that you mention it, yours would look good with a black Roll bar, better than mine does. :)
