Hey I'd like to buy this guard I found oon ebay but I have a 79 and it says its for an 81-83. Does anybody know if this would fit onto my luv? And if so how to fit it on?

I'll go take a look at it for you if you like.... It's in Memphis.

The front end of the 81 and after luvs was different from the 80 and before models. I doubt that it'll work, but there's a chance.

That sounds good if you would. It's not the biggest deal, it's just that my front bumper is pretty brutal and I need to replace it with something.

No problem. I tried to call them a minute ago, but I guess they're closed for the holiday. They're about 15 minutes from where I live, and I will go by there tomorrow evening.

It fits. The one that I bought for my '80 is off of an '81 sitting in the bone yard. If you have a body lift, you'll either have to drill two holes to mount it or move the brackets up. They have two bolts that go to the skid plate mounts, and two that go to the bumper. Good luck!

Yeah, it should fit... But you might as well just get a complete bumper out of a junkyard.
