 Post subject: 12 point roll cage

where can i find a 12 point roll cage for a 75 luv. i found a kit on jegs for like 280.00 i was wondering if anyone knows where i can find anything cheaper or better.

Cheaper no, But you do live right next door to Art Morrison chassis shop there by Tacoma give them a call and save shipping.They have cage kits for the Luv.

And as for cheaper remember this is your life your trying to be cheap about,also it will need to pass inspection if you are going racing.

I just hate to say it but ---- if you want cheap roll bars and don't care about your self the go to a muffler shop.There now that is out of my system :oops:

How do ya fit 12 points in a small cab like that anyway. There wouldnt be any floor left, it would be just all bars poking up.

Hell i only need one bar and it's down the street and a 12 point cage for 280 bucks is pretty cheap

I've got the jegs 12 point cage in my truck..........280 bucks aint bad.Be safe cut coners on something else.

yea thats a good price , just spent about 800 on a full cage plus my time and labor bending and rebending. but it is nhra spec and funny car cage.

Actually the kit cages are the best deal you can get as just buying the tubing gets pricey then you have to get it bent, cut ,notched,and fitted,then welded.

Nobody around here wants to custom fab one from scratch and the price would be crazy for labor :roll: . Jegs , Art morrison , S&W race cars , and others all offer a Luv kit . Then just have it tig welded in.

Like i said he lives right there in Art Morrisons back yard so a kit from there would be the cheapist as there would be no freight just a couple gallons of gas to get there and back.

You should be able to find a race car shop to custom build a kit but it wuold be VERY PRICEY.
