i droped mine 5 in the rear and 4 in the front to give it a more leveled out look. but i need to go up. but you could get lowering blocks at auto zone and other part stores

When i got my truck, it had a stock looking stance, but i noticed it had 2" blocks on the leafs. did the luvs come stock with these?
Anyways i stacked another two inch block on top of those ones and just made sure the U bolts where tight lol, might sound stupid but nothing has come out yet lol.
But bending the leafs is a good suggestion, i want my truck slammed so i think ime gunna do that
