thats me on the Left with my buddy at Pomona NHRA Winternationals. This pic was taken after about 9 beers and 4 shots of vodka. Note the serious look on our face. lol. My buddy runs an 11 sec '64 Nova.

Man o man I love those Chevy 2's. That is one of my favorite all time cars. That is the first car I ever got scared shitless is. My uncle had a pretty nasty 64. It only had a 327, but it was about 450 horse (ran on purple gas) a 5500 stall (yes 5500 rpm) one of those street fighter tci trannies, and a 12 bolt posi chevy rear end with 4.56 gears. I have never ridden in a car that gave me that kind of feeling deep in my gut like that car did. That is why I started loving cars and speed. That is also why I am building my chevelle.

I used to have a '66 Chevy II. Man I loved that car. Had to sell it last year. It was a 377, .680' roller cam, 13.9:1 JE's 6" rods, Dart Heads, 930CFM Holley, worked Victor Jr. TH350,. 4000 stall, 10pt cage, mini-tubbed, narrowed 9" 4.88's and 13" slicks. Had to sell it due to the new family and $$$ issues. I loved that car but the 64 II has to be my all time favorite. Anyway I sold the car to a guy in Pomona and sat there for a few months suffering horsepower withdrawls. Then it hit me. My old LUV that I had in high school was socked away in storage for 10+ years. I dusted it off, put together a quickie 406 motor and here I am today.

My dad used to have a '64 Chevelle SS 350/4sped that he would row gears in when I was a kid. Thats what got me started in the whole hot rod craziness.
