ookie dokie, luv missing,plugs,wires,points,plugs,con,cap ,rotor,
wiring sound,idles ..runs good for a minute/two .then when you stop
idles down and quits,got me stumped,any ideas?fuel pump maybe?
any suggestions are helpful..also seems to burn up points quick..
timing is right?v 8 luvs are my game,this kinda sux for real

anyone had carb gasket problem,acts like a fuel problem?
any help appreciated dw from va all above mentioned have been replaced\

with the air cleaner on and the motor running,spray starting fluid at the base of the carb,if the rpms pick up you have a bad gasket.Have you changed out the condenser with the new points?make sure you are not getting 12 volts to the distributor once the key is in the run position.

Hey DW!

Might want to replace all the vacuum lines if you haven't already. The carb cleaner trick works pretty good.
