I only have 1 vacuum line on my truck now, for the vacuum advance. When I did mine anything that went to the carb that didn't have an obvious hookup on the weber i just capped where it came from. Really cleaned up the engine ay. Right or wrong i dont know but it runs great. hope this helps

Seeing how you are in CA. as am I, I assume you still have all other smog stuff on your truck. I do.
I just added a delay valve to the egr.
This just doesn't let it open so soon after the throttle is opened. I still have a hicup while taking off and if I just hold the throttle opened at about 2000, I can feel it run a bit rough. I haven't figured out what to do about this yet.

On the stock carb. there were 2 vacuum ports. One for the timing advance and one for the egr. The Weber only has one. I just used a tee and put them together.
This could be part of my problem, I don't know.

And this Weber will not be OK with the smog test guy. They want the stocker on there. I plan to swap mine back for the test.

There is an adapter available somewhere that allows you to put your stock air cleaner on the weber carb which might help you pass smog.

I don't know if that helps you much...but I just thought I'd toss that bit of info in.

Thanks. I've heard of that also, but never have seen it. I haven't looked either....

I'm sure I'll be looking like crazy about the time I get the renewal that says " smog certificate required".

Adapter, about halfway down the page.

P/N from Redline Weber 99010.301
Universal intake adapter for Weber DGV series carburetors

Intake opening will work with modified stock filters to maintain factory emissions equipment, also for use as custom connection for remote filtersImage

Thanks for the info. I live in CALI but im a military guy and whenever smog comes due ill just switch my regestration to my home state. So if there is not a hook up on the weber I can cap it off and toss some of that stuff? I talked to a local carb guy he said that the non stock air filter has trouble with cold starts is that true?

You need to be a bit careful with pulling stuff off the G-seires motors.

They dont use a characoal canister for evaprative fuel emissions. They cycle it thru the engine. This is naught to do with performance and all to do with evapourating fuel.
