I used ctmandu's suggestion and put used mid-80's Dodge D-50 door seals on both of my trucks. They come out quite easily from the stock truck. I don't think they are actually even glued in, just a pressure fit. It's easy to rip them, so just go slowly. It's pretty self explanatory once you see it and start to pull one out.
For installation in the Luv's, I lined up the top corner and worked the seal around the sides. There is roughly 12" of extra at the bottom. I cut out the 12" piece after I got the rest of the seal in place and then used a small piece of vacuum hose to plug into the ends and make it one continuous piece. Hope that makes sense. I used some 400 grit sandpaper and acetone on the doors before I put the new seals in. I put the adhesive on the top and sides before I did the bottom, and then I cut out the extra. This way the seal didn't move around, and I could be sure it was just right at the bottom. I cut it with some extra overlap and then fine trimmed it until the piece of vacuum line went in and formed a nice continuous run. I used a tube of 3M trim adhesive, a little spendy, but worth it.
Takes a little time, but well worth the $5 for the 4 seals I got at the wrecker. The time consuming part for me was getting the old seals off the Luv. When I was done putting the 'new' seal in I had to adjust the striker on the driver's door, on both trucks. Also, make sure the cab windlace isn't binding. It's easy to catch it with your foot on entry and exit in the lower front corner, and then the door won't shut right...
Good luck
