O.K . tonights total
1. $80 bottle refills
2 $20 entry& tech card
3. $20 110 octane
------------------------
$ total = Rain out

I was finishing up the install when the wife says " we're gonna be getting ready for cheer camp all night , why don't you race the truck " . My answer ? O.K. I loaded up and made the haul . Got in , warmed the gear , filled up , teched in , siting in the lanes , & the bottom drops out . Have you guys ever loaded a light truck with slicks onto a wet wood decked trailer in a down pour ? Got home 2 hours ago , still raining . Clobberthon is tommorow ! No test and tune for me , I just goota go for it . Hope everything works out . I'll try not to use the bottle if I can . Truck is strong on motor . Anyway if it stops raining , we'll race saturday .

We got rained out last friday night and the they closed the both and left quickly . I showed up on saturday and she said you should run the "bracket bash " . I HATE BRACKET RACING! I used to do this about 8 yrs ago and was second in points for a while , until I learned about index / grudge racing . I did o.k , i went 3 rds until I got up against a 2.5 second slower car and went .024 red @ 11:45 at night . I was ready to go anyway . Here is a pic .

That was first round of eliminations . Got the win . Second round I got stuck in the staging lanes from an oil down and the sun set and it cooled off almost 10 * . The bottle pressure fell off to 850 so it laid down on the big end . It went 7.17 @ 92.96 . The other car broke out , but I didn't meet the minimum MPH by 4/100 th's so he advanced . Not meeting the min. is considered sandbagging and that is worse than a breakout .

i never heard of that, a minimum mph?? wish we did that. yesterday in 1st rnd i raced a new vette setup for top sportsman class racing, he unhooked all his electronics to race my class for easy money i guess. he ran a 5.98 @ 100 mph. he should have been goin alot faster than that. i did spank his ass though, .014 light to his .105 lol.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.
